Introduction

If you want to buy applications in volume on the Windows Store and then distribute them in your company, it will be necessary to set up the Microsoft Store for Business

Microsoft Store for Business activation

  1. Connect to Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center (https://devicemanagement.microsoft.com/)

2. Go to Tenant Administration -> Connectors and tokens -> Microsoft Store for Business

3. Click on the link "Open the business store"

4. Click on connection if you are not already connected

5. Return to the Microsoft Enpoint Manager admin console interface, click on Activate at the synchronization level, select the language of your applications, then click on Sync

6. Wait while the store and Intune synchronize

Provide store applications

  1. Connect to the Microsoft Business Store (https://businessstore.microsoft.com/) and authenticate with an account with the rights to make purchases on the store.
  2. Do your little “Shopping” for applications 😉 In my case, I'm going to do a test with OneDrive, click on “Get the application”

3.Validate the EULA

4. My software has been ordered and validated

5. Status and attribution of licenses, to assign a license to a user click on the link "Assign to users"

6. Find the users to whom you wish to assign the application

7. Confirmation that the assignment has been made

It is also possible to download a CSV file concerning the status of each assigned license, by clicking on the Download results link.

License and billing management

  1. Connect to the Microsoft Business Store (https://businessstore.microsoft.com/) and authenticate with an account with the rights to make purchases on the store.
  2. Click on "Manage" in the menu bar

3. In products and services you can for example see the cost of each license, the number of available licenses, etc.

4. Users can also request a license purchase, which must then be validated by an administrator, this can be done under Billing accounts -> Administrator approval.

This is of course only a functional overview of certain features in order to quickly and easily set up the Microsoft Store for Business.
